Bethany Best & Associates provides specialised Neurologic Music Therapy and music tuition services to people across Brisbane, Moreton Bay and regions. With advanced training in Neurologic Music Therapy (NMT), post-doctoral research and over 12 years clinical experience, Bethany provides an established and professional service to people of all ages.

In addition to providing music therapy services, music tuition and pedagogy (piano, theory, exam preparation, AMEB, ABRSM & Trinity) is also offered to people of all ages and abilities.

With a Doctorate in Neurorehabilitation, a Masters in Music Therapy and multiple undergraduate degrees in music, Bethany is a highly trained professional that systematically applies the neuroscience of music to drive functional change. Bethany has over 10 years working in acute and sub-acute brain injury rehabilitation and has a special interest in helping individuals regain optimal function in areas of communication and sensorimotor skills.

Therapy and tuition services are offered to individuals face to face at our North Lakes clinic or online. Therapy sessions include individualised assessments, plans and programs that identify therapeutic goals to be addressed through music. A variety of music and non-music interventions and techniques are used to drive improved function in areas of cognition, communication and sensorimotor.

Working in collaboration with each individual and their care team is paramount to achieving holistic care and is a part of Bethany Best & Associates regular practice.
